I just took my first painting class. This was my final project. This is technically my 4th painting. I am quite the beginner. I really enjoyed painting this. It took about 4 days including building the stretcher bars, then stretching and preparing the canvas.
I have a tendency to draw trees when I am bored in class. One day, I had sketched a tree with a silhouette of a guitar in it. I told myself, "One day, I'm going to paint this."
